Answer: A re-usable mechanical seal, with event - unique security number generation, for cargo doors of goods vehicles. Replacing plastic indicative seals.

Answer: Lasts over ten years with increased security level and reduces administratation costs.

"How much will I save by using the Secureseal in place of disposables"?

Answer: Secureseal provides the lowest cost reusable seal, without exception, that can be purchased when calculated over the life of the product, and / or the life of the vehicle. The Secureseal product will operate beyond the mechanism guarantee of 50,000 operations, which is equivalent to a vehicle using 13 seals per day, 365 days per year for 10 years producing an equivalent individual seal cost of less than quarter of a penny.

Answer: Yes very simple. The seal mechanism secures a multi-strand steel cable threaded through the door catch mechanism, preventing the door opening without opening the seal.

Answer: Secureseal provides a unique feature where both cable ends are locked into the unit and are therefore inaccessible for tampering. This provides a complete security loop for curtain sided vehicles running a single cable around the vehicle or two individual cables along each side terminating within the Secureseal.

Answer: Secureloc is the ideal option for applications that require a seal and a barrier lock. There is no need for a padlock as the barrier lock is built-in to the unit.

Answer: Secureloc comes as standard with a high grade stainless steel 7-pin radial camlock suitable for the majority of applications however an even higher grade security lock is available if required.

Answer: Yes, the different units can all be keyed alike, keyed differently or even keyed differently with a Master key option.

How does the temperature sensor work?

Answer: The temperature sensor is a totally sealed and self-powered unit that is easily mounted at the rear inside the trailer. It takes an accurate electronic reading of the surrounding temperature and transmits this information wirelessly to the cab.

How do I fit the temperature sensor?

Answer: The sensor has an easy to fit wall mounting suitable for any location within the trailer interior. We recommend mounting inside the rear of the trailer for optimum temperature accuracy.

Is there any wire or cable connection from the sensor to the cab?

Answer: No, the temperature sensor communicates using Radio Frequency through the air and requires no wire connection of any kind within the trailer.

Does the driver have to manually register the cab with the sensor in his trailer pick-up?

Answer: No, Securetemp has a unique trailer matching feature where the cab display unit automatically searches and mates with the appropriate sensor for the coupled trailer.

How will the driver be aware if there is a temperature problem?

Answer: Temperatures outside the programmed range will activate the alert function, with an audible alarm for 15 seconds and a continuously flashing display until the temperature returns within the acceptable range.

Answer: The GateManager system was designed for trailer management feedback over the parameters of location, security and temperature. Itšs objective is to provide only useful relevant data and features to improve the day to day running of the fleet operation.

Do I need a GPS system?

Answer: Trailers have limited power facilities that limit the ability for any GPS system to operate effectively. Usually the issues regarding trailers relate to identifying a trailer is lost, an audit trail of arrivals and departures and which trailers are within the depot. Using local RFID techniques GateManager can answer all these requirements without the cost, reliability or power issues associated to GPS systems.

How easy is it for me to access the information?

Answer: The information is accessible through the web based software which means that if you can access the internet you can investigate and interrogate your fleet information anywhere.

How soon can I identify a lost trailer?

Answer: You set your own parameters for a trailers allowable time away from the depot and the GateManager will automatically alert you by email, text message or pager should any trailer fail to return, as soon as that happens.

Answer: The system is continually scanning changes, departures, alerts, arrivals etc and relaying data back to the central server to be presented on screen. The system will have a short communications delay however based on the market requirements the data is current and reliable to use to maximise efficiency and manage the trailer fleet effectively.
