Company History

​

Established in England in 1976, OEM Group has been successfully operating for over 45 years.  We are one of the world's largest distributors of transportation controls and indicative mechanisms, but like many businesses, the beginnings were humble. Started in 1976 by Ben and Joyce Grant, the company has gone from a team of two working in a spare room, to providing logistic sealing, security, wireless temperature monitoring, and event logging solutions to logistic fleets around the world.

 

Today, our clients range from some of the largest companies in the world with thousands of trailers, to small family owned companies with only three or four trucks.  Ben retired in 2009, and acted as Chairman until is passing in 2021.  Joyce, remains a Company Director and heads up property management for the company.

 

Managing Director, Cameron Grant, was eight years old when his parents started the company. After earning an engineering degree and completing two internships, one in Switzerland and another in the USA, Cameron returned to England in 1990 and commenced working at OEM Group.  He’s been the Managing Director at the helm of the family company since 2009 and says, "We've enjoyed 46 successful years in operation, but I believe that as we continue to grow and develop innovative products for the ever-growing logistics industry, some of the best years for OEM Group and SecureSeal Systems are still ahead of us.”
